Bio:

Dianne lives on the south coast of Western Australia and has published 14 books ranging from picture book, middle grade chapter books to YA novels.

Her latest picture book 'Granny Grommet and Me' is about surfing grandmas. Her previous title 'Lighthouse Girl' won the children's choice award WAYRBA,was shortlisted for two Premier's Awards, the Crichton Award and was listed as a Notable Book in two categories of the 2010 CBCA Awards. A partnmer book 'Light Horse Boy' will be published April 2013.

Dianne's picture book 'Photographs in the Mud' is now published in Japanese. In early 2011 her YA novel, 'Choices' was published in Polish.
