When not blogging or working on dummies, Jaime is thrilled to be teaching Illustrating Children's Picture Books this summer at the University of Washington, http://www.pce.uw.edu/courses/illustrating-childrens-picture-books.html.

She also serves with Kim Baker as SCBWI Western Washington's Co-Regional Advisors and helps authors on tour in Seattle as a media escort for First Edition Media Services, www.firsteditionseattle.com.

Jaime's BEYOND THRILLED to say her illustrations will appear in Lisa Lutz's HOW TO NEGOTIATE EVERYTHING, a picture book out with Simon & Schuster in early 2013. An excerpt of the picture book is in Lisa Lutz's fifth Spellmans novel, TRAIL OF THE SPELLMANS, available in 2012.
