Bio:

Melissa Guion grew up in West Caldwell, NJ and Baltimore, MD.

Her debut picture book, Baby Penguins Everywhere! (Philomel), was selected by the Society of Illustrators for the 2012 Original Art show.

She also writes for Tom Tom Magazine, the world's only magazine dedicated to female drummers.
