Bio:

I'm the Regional Advisor of Indiana SCBWI and am represented by Linda Pratt from Wernick & Pratt Agency.

I illustrate the Little Wings chapter book series for Random House and have illustrated five picture books. My books have received a Starred Review from School Library Journal, the APALA Picture Book Award, Bank Street Best Children's Books of the Year, and The Cooperative Children's Book Center top children's book picks.

In 2013, I’ll make my debut as author/illustrator with the publication of PENGUIN CHA-CHA from Random House.

In 2000, I graduated magna cum laude from Columbus College of Art & Design with a major in Illustration. I grew up in Wisconsin, studied in Ohio, moved to Texas, spent a summer in China, and now live in Indiana with my husband, two daughters, and a room full of hippos and monkeys (and some sneaky penguins).
