Bio:

Author of Shades of Truth and Flickering Hope (Zondervan, Feb 2012) Naomi also created Spilled Ink, A Writer’s Notebook, winner of the 2009 Moonbeam Gold Medal for Educational/Activity book. Naomi has also had articles published by Spider, Highlights and Pockets magazines. As Creative Director for Society of Young Inklings, Naomi has developed a play-based methodology to inspire and teach young writers.

Naomi has a BA in Theatre Arts from Seattle Pacific University and has studied theatre with the Piven Theatre Workshop and ACT. She has also studied at the Institute of Children’s Writers and the Teachers College at Columbia University. She has a Masters in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Hamline University. Naomi is the Assistant Regional Advisor for San Francisco South.
