Bio:

George has been an Air Force officer, an adjunct faculty member, a project manager, an operations engineer and a software developer. He writes science fiction, fantasy, and historical fiction. Recently he has finished two young adult sci fi manuscripts and is halfway through a historical fiction. Authors he looks up to are Jane Yolen, C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkein, Piers Anthony and Robert Heinlein.

He grew up in the 80's in the mid-west and now lives in Texas. After seven years he's almost past the culture shock and has even been told he's started on a south-western accent. George was born in Germany, the son of a Puerto-Rican Army officer and a Virginian Air Force brat. He'll be serving the North Central, North East Texas SCBWI chapter as the Regional Advisor for 2009, 2010 and 2011.
