Bio:

Rebecca was born in Toronto, Ontario and now splits her time between urban life in Toronto and rural life in Southwestern New Hampshire, USA. She feels that she is the luckiest person alive to be writing for children.

"The Last Loon" was voted an honour book for the 2012 Silver Birch Express Award.

"The Last Loon" won the 2010 Municipal Chapter of Toronto IODE Jean Throop Book Award.

"Lily and the Paper Man" won ForeWord Magazine's 2007 Book of the Year Award, Children's Picture Book category.
It was a finalist for the OLA 2008 Blue Spruce Award and the 2009 Shinning Willow Award.
