Bio:

Shannon Morgan is an award-winning short story writer and novelist represented by Chris Richman of Upstart Crow Literary. Three of her plays for young audiences have been produced by The Magik Theatre, a professional nonprofit children’s theatre in San Antonio, where she recently served as Education Director. In 2011, SCBWI awarded Shannon the General Work-in-Progress runner-up grant. The same year, she became the Regional Advisor of the Southwest Texas chapter. Shannon is currently working toward an MFA in writing for children and young adults through Vermont College of Fine Arts. When not writing, Shannon loves to read, run, and travel. She lives in San Antonio with her husband, Dave.
