Bio:

A childhood love of books and music lead me to a creative life. I gravitated towards music (most likely since my handwriting was so bad, and it was a way to meet girls) and have made a career out of performing and writing music and lyrics. I always loved lyrics and the story told as much as melody. In addition to my music, I now find myself searching for the lyrics to tell a story without the benefit, or the constraints, of a musical form. Some folks have trouble editing - I'm too used to it! A new adventure.
In 2011 I began a new creative adventure, one that brings together my abiding love of music and new love of children's literature. 2011 witnessed the birth of Filibert Binkleby and the Travelers, a Musical Band of Factoidal Adventurers. Filibert makes up songs about true (or at least mostly true) things he's discovered in his travels around the world. Little musical articles, they are. Keep an eye out for him at Lit Fests around the country.
