Bio:
Judy James works as a Library Assistant in the National Library of Trinidad and Tobago. She completed a Degree in English with a minor in Business Administration with hopes to complete a Masters in Library Science. Judy enjoys writing in her spear time and as the inspiration flows in time of the day or night she tries to capture that moment by writing it down. Judy hopes to publish her first children's book this year.
One of her interesting pieces in poetry she shares:
A conscious gift
Gift so sweet it make hearts of men speak
Words that refresh and cultivate the soul,
Recapturing minds excited to seek
Concealed anguish, restraint written on scroll.
Expressions hurt lodged deep within the heart
Desires that triggers emotions, passion rage.
Detailed aspect of life on paper, chart
Written, untold stories within a cage,
The colours no one can truly observe
Beneath the surface fragile conscience hurt.
The language of pain becomes self preserved.
Success, failure, confusion, where is mirth?
A gift so unique only the humble receives,
Truly writers are the eyes of the world.
Born in a planet drizzled with deceit.
Concealed anguish written, stories untold.
