Born in Hollywood, CA; Attended Campbell Hall, 8th and 9th Grade; Hollywood High School ('59); University of California, Santa Barbara (B.A. '68); Worked full time as Learning Skills Counselor for UCSB Skills Center, tutoring students in writing skills (1967 - 1979).

Have Lived in WA 1979 to Present. Taught general creative writing & picture book fiction and non-fiction writing for 15 years in Community Service Program at local Technical College; music teacher (piano & recorder to children and adults, '79 - 2011); '79 to Present, writer. Am known in Seattle area and via e-mail as "The Grammar Witch."

I live w/ my friend, Wini Jaeger, Pacho the Dog (Aussie) and Maya the Cat (DSH, owner of EVERYthing in our house).
