Bio:

After receiving my BA in Art at Penn State, I taught art for a year at the Anglo-American School in Moscow, USSR, where my Dad was finishing up his Air Force career. Then I returned to my Norwegian roots in the Midwest and worked as a freelance illustrator while we raised our two children in the Twin Cities. Jobs in before-school childcare and in an adult day center have added visual and creative stimulation.
I’ve illustrated everything from greeting cards and puzzles to textbooks and cookbooks. My work focusing on children can be seen on series book covers, religious curriculum, children’s magazines and books for parents and teachers.
