Bio:

Grew up and now live in SE South Dakota.
Retired Elementary Teacher. BA and MA in Eled.
Hobbies - reading, gardening, choral singing.
Have had about 600 stories, poems, articles published in about 80 different publications, mostly for children and mostly in "Highlights for Children" magazine.
Have had 2 picture books (out of print) and one pictorial history book published. New book coming out in 2011, published by SD State Historical Society Press, non-fiction for early readers.
Was on faculty at first and fourth writers workshops sponsored by Highlights Foundation at Chautauqua New York.
Have conducted writing workshops locally and presented at several SCBWI conferences.
Member SCBWI, Local writing and retired teachers groups.
Husband is retired. Have 2 children and 4 grandchildren.
