Bio:

Lena Shiffman was born and raised in Sweden. She has illustrated several children's books (mostly for Scholastic's Hello Reader series): Dancing with Manatees, When I Lived with Bats, Playing with Dolphins and Second Chance for Tina. She has also illustrated other books for Scholastic: First book of Words, Garden in Our Yard, Arielle's Hanukkah Surprise and My First Book of Questions. Her other books are: First Grade King published by Clarion, Keeping a Christmas Secret published by Atheneum, a Christoper Award winner 1989, and The Boy Toy published by Lollipop Books.
Lena lives in New Jersey with her family.
