Bio:

Illustrating has been my way of communicating the joys and struggles of life. Teaching art to middle schoolers gives me the energy and a constant flow of creative ideas. I've been lucky enough to illustrate stories to help families and kids with special needs for both Advantage books (a specialty publishing house for Women and girls with ADD) and Magination Press, the children's imprint of the American Psychological Association.

The grown-up friends that I have made through SCBWI are the most inspirational and giving people. Without my writer's group and encouraging words from presenters, attendees, and editor mentors, I would never have been able to share my art to help others.
