Debbie Dadey is a former first-grade teacher and librarian. She is the author and co-author of over 158 children's books, including the beloved Adventures of The Bailey School Kids series (Scholastic)and the Mermaid Tales series from Simon and Schuster. Debbie focuses her energies on writing books that even the most reluctant reader will enjoy. With titles like The Worst Name in Third Grade, Vampires Don't Wear Polka Dots, and Slime Wars she has sold over 48 million copies of her engaging books.
