Bio:

Millie Martin writes for the children’s market. She has worked as a contract writer for Concordia Publishing and has been published in children’s magazines, a reading anthology, and academic journals. Millie holds a Ph.D. in educational psychology from Texas A&M and has teaching experience at all levels--preschool to university. She is speaker at national conferences and provides staff development on a variety of topics. She is available to speak on a variety of topics related to writing for children and young adults.

Millie serves as Assistant Regional Advisor to the Houston chapter of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
