Diana Magnuson is an adjunct art instructor at Northern Michigan University, works as an art mentor for at-risk youth, member of The Studio Gallery in Marquette, MI and does school and workshop presentations in Michigan and Washington
Climbing trees, drawing magical worlds of elves and wolves, shaped her early childhood years in Minnesota. Having lived and worked in Africa, Germany, Illinois, Wisconsin, Washington, and Oregon, she now resides with her husband and dog Needjee in Michigan on the shores of Lake Superior. She has illustrated 87 children's books bringing characters alive with brush and pencil.
