Bio:

Author/illustrator Brian Lies has illustrated more than 24 children’s books and written five, including his New York Times bestsellers BATS AT THE BALLGAME (2010), BATS AT THE LIBRARY (2008), and BATS AT THE BEACH (2006). Brian has won numerous awards for his work in books, newspapers and magazines, including the inaugural Crystal Kite Award (New England Region) for BATS AT THE BALLGAME and the Bill Martin, Jr. Picture Book Award (Kansas) for BATS AT THE LIBRARY. Brian lives on the South Shore in Massachusetts, and visits schools throughout the country to work with young readers.
