Bio:

Linda Wirkner is the author of 14 books including Mystery of the Blue-Gowned Ghost, Destination Norfolk, Martinis, Summer Romance, hi-lo adaptations of As You Like It, Hamlet, and Julius Caesar, and a 6-book series on US history for 4th graders. She’s also published more than 200 short stories and articles in magazines for both children and adults and was a contributing writer for The Greatest Biggest Golf Book and The YG Book of Short Stories. Linda has taught elementary school, including three years at an international school in Tripoli, Libya, and has worked as an historical interpreter for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. She served as the Regional Advisor for the Mid-Atlantic chapter of SCBWI for 7 years and as Assistant Regional Advisor for 9 years.She has been a writing instructor with the Institute of Children's Literature since 1997.
