Bio:

I've published two picture books with Dial, THE IMPOSSIBLE PATRIOTISM PROJECT ('07) and TUTUS AREN'T MY STYLE ('10). My collective biography HISTORY MAKERS: TOY MAKERS was published by Lucent Books in '04. I'm the listserv moderator for the Iowa chapter of SCBWI. I'm also an instructor for the Institute of Children's Literature and co-teach a picture book writing workshop in the summer.
