Brandon Marie Miller writes award-winning history for young people. Her books have been honored by the International Reading Association, the National Council for the Social Studies, the Junior Library Guild, and the New York Public Library, among others. She loves to the tell the stories of everyday people as well as the famous, and whenever possible, she likes to let the people of the past speak for themselves. She has had 11 books published as well as magazine articles and educational writings. Brandon lives in Cincinnati Ohio.
