#31 - What's Your Excuse?
Your character's first big assignment of the school year is due RIGHT NOW. Your character does not have the assignment. What's the excuse?

Mrs. Honorable gave us our final assignment, a project about reptiles.
"Use your imagination," she said, "I'll give extra credit for creativity."
This was my last chance to save the year, and I had a plan. My sister's eyes flew right out of her head when I brought it home. Mom jumped up and down. I could tell she was impressed.
But now I'm in big trouble. You see, my homework ate our dog.
