Judy Blume

Judy Blume is the esteemed author of fiction for readers of all ages. She is highly regarded around the world for such coming-of-age classics as, Are You There God? It's Me Margaret, Blubber and Forever; middle-grade books including Superfudge, Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, and her latest, Double Fudge; and picture books such as The Pain and the Great One, and Freckle Juice. She has also written three novels for adults, all of them New York Times bestsellers. She has won over 90 awards for her books including the Margaret A. Edwards lifetime achievement award. Her books have been translated into twenty-six languages and have sold more than 75 million copies worldwide.

In addition to writing, Blume is a leader in working to protect intellectual freedom. She is the editor of a collection of stories, Places I Never Meant To Be: Original Stories by Censored Writers, and serves as board member and spokesperson for the National Coalition Against Censorship. She is the founder and trustee of The Kids Fund, which supports programs benefiting children.
