Robert Sabuda

Robert Sabuda is a celebrated author and illustrator of books for children. He is considered one of the most innovative illustrators in his field and was dubbed "The Prince of Paper" by Publishers Weekly. He is highly regarded for his delicate paper-cut illustrations in books such as The Paper Dragon and imaginative pop-up creations like those in his New York Times #1 best-selling book The Wizard of Oz. Sabuda is a two-time recipient of both the Golden Kite and Meggendorfer Awards, and his books have been frequent American Library Association Notable Books.
