Virtual Critique Coming Up

Get ready for our fourth Virtual Critique!

Manuscripts due (15 pages) April 14, workshop May 11, at libraries everywhere in AK via OWL system. Picture books-chapter books 10-12, middle grade-YA 12:30-2:30.

Have your writing/illustrating critiqued by professional literary agents and peers. Your pages are sent to agent, who will send back a written critique. A few weeks later, participants will come together for a workshop where we will review our written critiques with our peers. (Agent will not be present.) But your written critique will be of the same quality and caliber you would receive at a conference...without the high cost of travel.

Agents: Marietta B. Zacker Nancy Gallt Literary Agency for picture books-young middle grade, and John Cusick of Green House Literary for upper middle grade-young adult. Though this is not a formal submission, you will have the opportunity to submit to the agents later without your work going into the slush pile.

You can send up 15 pages total, to inlcude manuscript pages, query letter, and a synopsis.
