Regional Conference Details
On Saturday, Feb. 23, we'll be having a revision workshop at the Bookworm in Omaha (full details below). This will be an interactive, practical workshop with hands-on activities and at least one small group critique session. You'll bring 3 copies of up to 5 pages of your manuscript for children (novel, picture book, or short story), and use that to learn new strategies and techniques for revising your work and making it ready for submission to agents or publishers.
This should be a good opportunity to work on your writing and meet fellow scribblers. I hope many of you can join us. (There is a limit to enrollment because of the size of the room, but if demand is high we'll just schedule a second one a bit later in the spring, and I do plan to offer this at other locations around the state.)
