We received a grant from SCBWI for this event, so even your lunch is free! We're hoping you'll use the money you would've spent on lunch to buy books by our members at our Autograph Party earlier in the day. We're celebrating our members' new books published in 2011 and 2012. The best way to support our Indiana authors and illustrators is to buy their books!
Non-members will be allowed to attend the Member Luncheon for a fee if there is still space available after October 27.
SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY:
9:30 - 11:30 am: Autograph Party at 4Kids Books & Toys (4450 Weston Pointe Dr, Zionsville, IN).
Those registered for the Member Luncheon drive to the nearby Zionsville Library (250 North 5th Street, Zionsville, IN).
Noon - 12:15 pm: Grab a box lunch and a seat.
12:15 - 1:15: Peter Jacobi: "The Imagination, the Labor, and You"
1:15 - 1:45: Break.
1:45 - 2:45: Peter Jacobi: "Identifying and Satisfying Reader Wants"
2:45 - 3:00: Wrap-up and door prizes.
