SCBWI AZ has been serving Arizona since 1988 and has evolved into a very active region with more than 400 members statewide. Michelle Parker-Rock is your Regional Advisor. SCBWI AZ is proud to serve its members by providing opportunities for writers and illustrators to develop their craft and become educated about the business of writing and illustrating for the children's book, magazine, and media market.

For information about all of SCBWI Arizona's regional conferences, workshops, retreats, intensives, informal get-togethers, and other events, please check two places: the Events page on the SCBWI AZ Website at www.scbwi-az.org and on the Upcoming Events page on the Arizona Regional Chapter Home at www.scbwi.org. Postings are ongoing throughout the year.

As an SCBWI member, you can access the SCBWI Arizona Regional Chapter Home by logging onto www.scbwi.org which takes you to your Member Welcome Page. Click on the icon labeled Regional Chapter and click on Arizona on the next page. That will take you to the SCBWI Arizona Regional Chapter Home and the following pages: Basic Information; Regional News; Upcoming Events; Regional Conference.
SCBWI MEMBER HOME
On the SCBWI Member Home Page at www.scbwi.org members can access their Account Info, Conference History, Profile, Friends, Messages, Photos, and more. It is also where you can check your membership status, renew your membership, and manage your speaking listing if applicable.
SCBWI MEMBERSHIP
It is easy to check your account info and membership status, renew your membership, and manage your profile all from your SCBWI Member Home Page. Click the appropriate section on the left hand side of the page and complete the forms. Please be sure to keep your membership active and your profile updated regularly. SCBWI AZ events require proof of membership for the member rate. You can print a copy of your current membership from your membership page to include with your registration.
THE SCBWI AZ EMAIL BLASTS
SCBWI AZ Members from Yuma to Lake Havasu City, Tombstone to the Grand Canyon, Tucson to Phoenix, Scottsdale, Prescott, Flagstaff, Sedona, Payson and other places in between will be able to receive messages from the Regional Advisor via SCBWI AZ EMail Blasts.
THE SCBWI ARIZONA LISTSERV
SCBWI AZ has a Member's Only LISTSERV on Yahoo Groups. If you are a current member of our region, we hope you will accept our invitation to become a part of our growing online community.
The LISTSERV is for SCBWI AZ members interested in the writing and/or illustrating of picture books, middle grade novels, young adult novels, nonfiction for young readers and other related genres. It is also for the discussion of craft and professional career development. In addition, the LIST will serve as a means to communicate the most current information about relevant international, national, state and local events, as well as international industry related business news.
Members who join will have a place to connect with other members statewide for the purposes of discussing craft and industry matters and announcing good news. Members will also have access to files with information for starting and finding local critique groups and for resources regarding writing and illustrating and the business of publishing.
