What: The First Ever and Amazing SCBWI AZ Greater Phoenix Kid-Lit Drink Night, an informal get-together for SCBWI AZ members and anyone interested in children’s and young adult literature who would like to meet others and chat in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

DISTRITO is a modern Mexican restaurant and bar on the Scottsdale Civic Center Mall, across the Mall from the Scottsdale Civic Center Library, the Scottsdale Center for Performing Arts, and the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Arts (SMOCA).
DISTRITO is attached to THE SAUGARO Hotel adjacent to the Civic Center Mall.
FYI: SMOCA has free admission from noon to 9:00 PM on Thursdays.
DISTRITO Executive Chef is Ecuuadorian American Chef Jose Garces, the distinguished Iron Chef from the show’s second season.
HAPPY HOUR menu offers beer, wine, cocktails and soft drinks ranging from $2.00 -$7.00 dollars and small plates from $5.00 - $7.00. Purchases are not required. Food and beverage are on your own.
Parking: Plenty of free Parking in the lot off of !st Avenue and Buckboard and in the parking lot near the Civic Center Library Scottsdale Civic Center Library off of Drinkwater Street. There’s also plenty of street parking in Old Town all around the Civic Center Mall.
