General Information
Welcome to SCBWI Metro NY! Our region covers members who live in New York City, Long Island and parts of the counties directly north of New York City, but all SCBWI members are welcome!
We hold events the second Tuesday of the month, from September through June. We also have workshops and other events throughout the year, and our newsletter is sent out quarterly to members.
In addition, we have listings of courses and conferences online, we can help you find a critique group, and we have a database where PAL writers can advertise that they wish to speak at schools and libraries.
We also offer a "buddy" service for SCBWI members coming to New York City from out of town, just to help you get oriented.
