Chris Grabenstein Is the multiple award-winning, best-selling author of the Haunted Mystery series for Random House Children's Books and the Riley Mack caper series for HarperCollins Children's Books.   He also writes adult mysteries and thrillers and is the co-author of DANIEL X:ARMAGEDDON and I FUNNY with James Patterson, who was his first boss when Chris worked in advertising.  In the early 80s, Chris performed improvisational comedy with The First Amendment and Chicago City Limits troupes.   Bruce Willis was also a member of the First Amendment  and Robin Williams would drop by to perform whenever he was in NYC filming a movie.  Chris still uses the rules of improvisation every time he sits down to write and will show you how to avoid writer's block...forever!
