ALL GENRES ARE WELCOMED! This IS NOT just for picture books.
Join in an opportunity to receive supportive and editing suggestions from
your peers to improve your manuscript or portfolio. Sometimes it's a small
technical issue, a shift in point of view or that the story needs to start
at a different place. Revisions and editorial comments are part of the
publishing process. Also, Laurie Knowlton rocks! She will be moderating the meeting.
TO PARTICIPATE: You must RSVP Vicki Selvaggio, Regional Advisor, at
vselvaggio@windstream.net by January 18.
Prepare to read up to 5 pages of your manuscript and for portfolio reviews
up to 5 illustrations. You will be advised of how many copy sets to bring of
your manuscript once I have a final count.
Further instructions will be emailed to those who email their rsvp's.
I also encourage you to attend even if you do not want to read. You can
learn about your writing while listening to others read their manuscripts
while offering your own comments.
