Join in an opportunity to receive supportive and editing suggestions from your peers to improve your portfolio, illustrations or picture book manuscript.
Sometimes it's a small technical issue, a shift in point of view or that the story needs to start in a different place. Revisions and editorial comments are part of the publishing process.
We are pleased to have Lindsay as our Moderator!
Lindsay Ward is a cut paper and mixed media author/illustrator who received her BFA in Illustration from Syracuse University. She is the illustrator of "The Yellow Butterfly" by Mehrnaz S. Gill, "A Garden for Pig" by Kathryn Thurman, and the STAR Academy novels by Edward Kay. Lindsay's first author/illustrator project, "Pelly and Mr. Harrison Visit the Moon", came out Spring 2010. Her newest book, "When Blue Met Egg", published by Dial Books for Young Readers will be released February 2, 2012. You can visit her on the web at www.lindsayward.com

Prepare to read up to 4 pages (max) of your manuscript and/or share your illustrations. You will be advised of how many copy sets to bring of your manuscript upon a final attendance count. Further instructions will be emailed to you.
I encourage everyone to attend - even if you are not sharing your work. The opportunity to learn from other's work and comments shared is invaluable.
