Author visits at schools are one of the best ways writers can connect directly with readers, not to mention teachers and librarians. In this workshop, we will discuss the best ways to book school visits, what materials you can/should use, how teachers and librarians hope you’ll enhance the classroom experience, and how to best connect with readers.
Mary Grey James of Parnassus Books will also present how to partner with a local bookstore to sell books at these events. Attendees will depart with a marketing plan that can be used for future school presentations.
