Join us for North Central/Northeast Texas SCBWI Kid Lit Drink Night - Dallas. Meet us at Addison's Social House, which is known for its huge variey of beers as well as wine and other cocktails. If the weather's nice, we'll meet on the patio.

It's in the giant Village on the Parkway shopping center behind the construction and near Blue Mesa where we've met before. We all have blunders. It's a part of learning - and succeeding. In this workshop, Chris will cover many of the common ones. You'll leave with query letter and proposal methods and story structure techniques to plot better picture books and novels and ways to come up with ideas.

An award-winning writer and seasoned professional, Chris Maselli has a passion for not only producing quality writing, but also for teaching others how to do the same. Chris has written more than 40 books, including Carson-Dellosa’s Sleuth-It-Yourself mysteries, Zonderkidz’ Amazing Laptop series and the Superkid Adventures. Join us for North Central/Northeast Texas SCVWI Kid Lit Drink Night - Collin County. Meet us at Plano's Sambuca 360 in Shops at Legacy. (Just one block east of the Dallas North Tollway. Turn south on Bishop at the light and it's on your left.)

There will be a cash bar with happy hour drink and food specials. Feel free to bring a friend and stay for the live music that will begin later. You'll find easy-access parking garages throughout the center.
