In a two-part workshop, Jill will share hot tips for success in both craft and career. Craft will focus on manuscript polishing topics such as voice, emotional landscape and dialogue. In the career segment, Jill will address the short-term expectations and long-term realities of being a children’s book author in an ever-changing market.
Jill is encouraging you to bring your manuscripts for discussion in the workshop and is inviting you to forward her any questions ahead of time at http://twitter.com/jillsalexander
Readers see a lot of Jill’s rural East Texas upbringing in her stories and characters. She says her inspiration is everything from country music to her experiences as a teen working at a local truck stop. Her endless wit and storytelling abilities will make this workshop as fun and entertaining as her novels.
