Our region also participates in three Yahoo Groups:

The CHAT LIST--Members of the three Northern California regions (both illustrators and writers) are entitled to join our private Yahoo Group, which is both a forum for discussions on writing and illustrating for children and a place to post timely news that can't wait for the newsletter, such as businesses looking for writers or illustrators for specific projects. Digest and read-on-the-Web versions are available if individual emails is not your style. To become a member, contact Nancy Barnet.

The ILLUSTRATORS' LIST--A chat list specifically for SCBWI NORCA illustrator members. Illustrators may join the main chat list as well. To become a member, contact Nancy Barnet.

The NORCAL SCBWI ANNOUNCEMENT LIST--A one-way communication device on Yahoo Groups. One or two messages are sent per month from the Regional Advisors of all three Regions telling you about upcoming events. We strongly urge you to get on this list. Our events are very popular and receiving the announcement by email will give you a leg-up on getting registered.

Anyone (SCBWI members and non-members) may request membership in the NorCal SCBWI Announcement list by going to http://groups.yahoo.com and creating an ID on Yahoo Groups. Then request membership by sending an email to:
NorCalSCBWI-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
