Want to hone your agent-hunting skills? The SW SCBWI-Wisconsin/Madison area will offer a 3-hour workshop by Emily Kokie called Finding the Agent Who Is Right for You.

Emily is the author of the upcoming young-adult novel Personal Effects (Candlewick, 2012) and has firsthand experience researching and querying agents. The presentation on which this expanded workshop is based got rave reviews at the Fall, 2010, Wisconsin SCBWI Retreat. This workshop has also been hosted by the Illinois SCBWI chapter.
