CONTACT: Eva Apelqvist
LOCATION/TIME: 3740 Spooner Ave., Altoona, Wisconsin, 1-3 p.m.

Northwest Wisconsin SCBWI writers and illustrators will meet on Saturday, April 7, 1-3 p.m., for Georgia Beaverson’s presentation about query letters for fiction writers. Georgia is a long-time professional writer and editor and the author of the middle grade fantasy novel, The Hidden Arrow of Maether (from Delacorte Press). Among other things, her presentation will teach us about brevity, content, and the musts and no-nos of query writing.

Location for the gathering is 3740 Spooner Ave., Altoona, Wisconsin. (We will be meeting in a music studio housed in the back of a church. Altoona is right next to Eau Claire).

Members: $25. Nonmembers: $35. Coffee, tea and snacks will be provided. For more information or to sign up, please contact Eva Apelqvist.
