Free exhibition showcasing winning entries from The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (British Isles) competition
Children's picture book illustration is one of the most innovative and creative areas of the current publishing industry. This exhibition celebrates this talent, comprising stunning artwork from the prestigious SCBWI (Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators British Isles) 2012 competition. Chosen by a jury of published illustrators and art directors, the pieces cover an array of genres and showcase some of the best work by published and unpublished artists in the field today.
SCBWI is the only international professional organisation dedicated to serving people who share a vital interest in children's literature, magazines, film, television and/or multimedia. SCBWI British Isles aims to support aspiring and published British writers and illustrators and provide opportunities for them to network, hone their craft and develop their careers.
