It can be tough to break into the fiction market. What many writers don't know is that breaking into the non-fiction market is sometimes easier, and it can provide you with the credentials that may make an agent or editor take another look at your fiction. While it's not a guaranteed method, the more non-fiction credits you have to your name, the more options you may find in the fiction market.
Join author Monica Harris as she explains how the non-fiction markets work, and the best ways to take advantage of these opportunities. The webinar is one hour long, with 45 minutes of presentation and 15 minutes for questions.
Monica is also willing to provide a critique of your work. The following critique options are available:
Picture Book--up to 900 words
Non-Fiction Magazine Article--Up to 1000 words
MG or YA Novel--Up to 3000 words
Critiques include a line-by-line edit, plus a one-page detailed letter. Submissions are due to Monica no later than June 6, 2013, and will be returned to you no later than June 15, 2013. Critique slots are limited, so sign up early.
Cost: 25chf for webinar only, 35chf for critique (please note: critique is available ONLY to those people signed up for the webinar).
