"Getting into Character: Creating and Developing Characters through the Art of Improvisation"
Through a series of fun and easy improv-based acting and writing exercises, you'll learn how to embrace your creative spontaneity, create "instant characters," and develop a character from the outside in. You'll explore your character's background and history, discover your character's individual voice and learn to see the world from your character's point of view. Whether you write picture books or YA novels, this workshop will give you new tools to create compelling characters. Beginning, intermediate, and advanced writers welcome!
