Here's a great event organized by our Belgian neighbors. Marie Wabbes has over 180 published works to her name. She will share her experiences of the publishing world, including the new trends that she sees developing in today’s highly competitive market. She will also discuss various techniques and media that can be used to illustrate/create a picture book – be it for commercial publication or for a personal ‘one only’ creation. Portfolio reviews with Marie are also on offer for an additional, but reasonable, fee. Cost for the workshop is 10€ for non-SCBWI members, 8€ for SCBWI members.
