THE SOCIETY OF CHILDREN'S BOOK WRITERS AND ILLUSTRATORS ANNOUNCES THE SPARK AWARD WINNERS FOR INDEPENDENTLY-PUBLISHED WRITERS AND ILLUSTRATORS

The SCBWI is pleased to announce the winners of the 2014 Spark Award, an annual award that recognizes excellence in a children’s book published through a non-traditional publishing route.  

The 2014 illustrated book winner is My Twelve Maine Christmas Days by Wendy Ulmer and illustrated by Sandy Crabtree.

The 2014 winners for book for older readers is The Men Who Made the Yankees by W. Nikola-Lisa and Melt by Selene Castrovilla.
