Balancing Graphic Novels and Picture Books
« on: March 14, 2017, 05:22 PM »
I'm an aspiring author/illustrator interested in doing both picture books and graphic novels. Does anyone have experience trying to balance the two worlds? Any advice for someone trying to move forward in both fields? Thanks!

I'm prepublished but working on several PB dummies. I've also started outlining a story I think would work better as a MG GN. I think they are closely related enough that the skills will translate. I think the biggest challenge by far is time. both are pretty big time committments from an author/illustrator.
