Hello friends,

Does anyone have tips on how to promote old books? Two were published last year and 4 in 2015. Also have ebooks.

Thanks,

Rani

Goodreads giveaways are a great promotional tool for new or older books. It helps to put the book in front of new readers and costs very little.  :flowers2

Are you already a GR member? If so, it's super easy. Just go onto your author dashboard and scroll down to the bottom where you'll see a section on listing giveaways. They walk you through it. If you're not on GR, you'd need to join and set up an author page. I think it's worth it as it's free and is a great way to connect with readers and make yourself more visible. Even if I wasn't an author I'd still love it as a reader. Some authors don't like it as they've had trouble with poor reviews of their books, ect. But for me personally, it's been a terrific source of promotion and I've received many wonderful reviews.  :goldstar

So, how to get more reviews for the books? Does anyone have a process they are willing to share? Thanks!

Some people give away free copies of their books to those who will review them. Not sure how well it works but it is an option. (Though such solicitation I know is not allowed on these Boards.) You could try it on your FaceBook?

I haven't done a Goodreads giveaway in quite a while, but their rule used to be that the book had to be new; it had to be within a certain number of months of its release. Have they changed that rule?
