Ping! The exam was yesterday. Since you didn't show up for it, you get a zero.

I wish all the stuff that I'm putting on the rummage sale would magically transport itself out of the house to the garage.

BAM! All the stuff for your rummage sale magically transports itself in to the garage, unfortunately so does every single other item in your house. Now instead of taking things from the house to the garage, you have to take things out of the garage and put it back in the house.

I wish I didn't have so many mosquito bites. Soooo itchy!

Poof! you now only have one moquito bite..from one mosquito the size of Massachusetts, which sucks all of the fluids from your body and turns you into a dessicated raisin.

I wish I could think of something to top that.

Poof! Now every time you think of an idea you immediately think of a better one, and a better one, and an even better one… You get nothing done and end up looking like this guy:  :duh.

I wish I could find my favourite beef stew recipe that I lost last year.

Ta Da! You found that recipe! Only you discover it calls for a full cow boiled, hide and all, in a witch's cauldron. Not as tasty as you remember.

I wish I could finish my WIP already.

SHIZAM! You finally finish your WIP, only to find that there is a huge problem with your plot. You have to scrap over half of the book in order to fix it! :run4hills It takes another 2 years to rewrite because of a horrible case of writer's block :reaction

Bing! You don't get car sick. But now you get house sick, so the only place you don't feel queasy is in the car.

I wish it weren't raining today.

Poof!  You're in Texas, where it hasn't rained since the ice age...at least it feels that way.  The smoke from the wildfires obscures the sun and starts another ice age...except with no rain there's no ice.  You have to drink lukewarm Kool-aid.  Except since there's no water, you just have to eat the powder.

I wish it would rain in Texas.

Shazam! It has just begun raining in Browndell, Texas (pop. 215), in a twenty square foot area behind the home of a guy named Fred McGinley. From now on, it will rain in that location exactly between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. every day. Fred, an enterprising guy, will win many statewide gardening competitions. The rest of you Texans are out of luck.

I wish the holiday weekend weren't over yet.

The holiday weekend has just started, and it doesn't have an end for because you were given a drink of nectar, and you don't even know what day it is.  You and your friends are in a resort, and living your lives caught up in never ending whirlwind.

Wish my rose bush would bloom.

Your rose bush is blooming, but a horde of strange bees has covered it.  You get stung all over and spend the night in the ER while doctors try to figure out what that strange venom actually was and why it made your nose blow up to the size of a large apple.

I wish my dogs would only bark when I want them to, like for burglars, not for squirrels.

Poof! Your dogs now have a special bark that attracts burglars. They've also learned your alarm system combination. Your house is emptied out.

I wish I could play the harp.

POOF!  You have a golden harp that plays the most beautiful melodies each time you pluck the strings.  The downside is, you're dead.

I wish I had more writing gigs lined up for next month.

Suddenly you have dozens and dozens of writing gigs. Unfortunately they are all obituaries because you made Hannah die.

I wish the kids behaved better in school.

You worked faster, met all your deadlines, and now you're going crazy because you have nothing else to do!

Wish for good weather not a harsh winter.
