Question for your MC
« on: March 07, 2009, 10:54 PM »
They were playing this game on Absolute Write and it seemed fun - basically poster #1 asks a question, then poster #2 answers it as his/her main character and asks another question.

So to start, I'll answer my own question, I guess:

Question: What's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten?

Kim: Chocolate covered beetle larvae - my science teacher's idea of a fun Halloween project.

Question for the MC of the person below: What's the worst thing you've ever done?

1979 sky blue Datsun with perfect upholstery.  We were told that it had only been driven once a week, by a little old lady, to church and back. And weirdly enough, we found out that this was true.

Well, I hate it when I know exactly what I want, and exactly who I want it from, and then someone (MOM!) decides that she knows better, and expects me to take piano lessons from an old lady in a station wagon. So irritating.

*Susan you sorta didn't give a question, so I'll just make one up*

Question: If you had superpowers what would they be?

Kyle: "Ur, I kinda already do have superpowers? Dude get with the times. Anywho, I guess if I had another bunch of superpowers it would definitely be time hopping and mind control. If I can time hop I can just go back and fix my mistakes--I make a lot. And if I could control minds then I can get anything I want. Wicked. Maybe I'll rob a bank, too..."

Question: If you could go back and relive a day in your life, what would it be?

RUBY:   I would probably go back to that day just before I got shipped off to this gawdawful place...that day when Derrick and I took Diego for a walk.  I sure miss that mutt and his different day-of-the-week coats. I was always especially fond of the "Tuesday" one…those little cartoon bones all over the black polar fleece. He looks like a chuihuaha on steroids when he wears that one (I told Derrick to make sure he wears it when that mean Rotweiller is cruising the hood…it'll be good for his little doggie ego.)

My cat, since i have the nerve to sit in his chair.  Or his other chair.  Or sleep in his bed.  Oh heck, I need to apologize that I don't just come home to his house, feed him and then leave.

Wyatt's answer:  I'd tell you, but i can't.  It's in the book.  You'll just have to hope it's get published.  Sorry.  But the second most death-defying thing I ever did was the first time I ever went off the high board when, I was nine.  I was sure I wasn't going to live to touch the water.

Wyatt's question:  If you had to be gone from home for a long time, what would you miss the most?

Vincent's answer: the news. There's bound to be something about Captain Stupendous on the news, and there's never been a TV show that's better than that.

Vincent's question: are girls who know karate even weirder than regular girls?

Lily's answer:  Girls aren't weird, whether they know Karate or not!  Except for Mrs. Adams.  She's kind of weird.  I don't know if she knows Karate or not.

Lily's question: Why do grown-ups always think that almost-twelve-year-olds don't know anything?

I don't know but it is beginning to really make me mad.  My mom made me so mad the other day I pulled all the stars off the ceiling we put up when I was 8 and I really had fun when some of the ceiling came off with them.

Ailie's Question:  What do you do when you find you have a secret about something and you know adults won't take you serious about what you have found out?

Bronte:  Listen. I rarely confide in adults. Period.  Most of them don't want to know about dirty little secrets anyway.  It might mean they'd have to actually grow a spine and do something.  So, yeah...secrets?  I have many.  Do I share them? Rarely.

Bronte's question:  What's the best stunt you pulled without ever getting caught?

Megan's Answer:  Well, the other day I walked out of school. Just walked out. I couldn't believe I did it. I can still hear the metal clang of the door slamming.  So far, my parents haven't found out. Of course, I have the principal's note in my backpack.

Maverick: Girls run away from me when they see my tail. I don't mind that they bolt, but I wish they wouldn't scream. It's kind of embarrassing. Hey,  I'm not a bad kid, just very misunderstood.

Maverick's question: Have you ever been arrested?

Wyatt's Answer:  No, but my brother Noah got arrested on his 17th birthday after he wrecked his friend's car.  Mom and Dad were really pissed, and he lost his driver's license for a whole year.

Wyatt's Question:  How old were you the first time you kissed a girl (or a guy) and you meant it?  (Or maybe that's none of my business.)

Kissed a girl?!  Why would I want to do that?!  I wouldn't kiss my brother or best friend Bruce, either.

Have you ever found something valuable, or cool, then had to give it back?

No, but I sure wish I would.  This town is totally boring most of the time.  Except when summer is here and we can sort of make fun of some of the summer people.  Even though I'm not supposed to do that, sometimes they are just so out there.

Are your parents married or divorced?  My have been divorced forever and my mom has been dating my art teacher from grade school! Bleech.

Rosie's answer: No - just me and my dad, ever since my mom left. But that's all right - we're better off that way.

Rosie's question: What do you do when your two best friends are at each other's throats?

(Note from redheadedali: That question is kind of a joke on Rosie's part, because one of her best friends is a vampire  :ha. But for the purposes of the exercise, let's say the question can apply to any two non-bloodsucking feuding friends.)
