  • Aspiring YA author with a sarcasm problem.
    • Psychological Research reported with a sprinkle or two of absurdity.

Aspiring YA author, almost PhD in psych, and psychology instructor. I recently started a blog about psychology (lifepsychle.com).

Sometimes I wish I lived in New York and could be part of the cool YA club that you sometimes read about in the acknowledgments sections of books. I don't know any writers in my area, so it's really nice to connect online.

Another American married to a Canadian, although now in Tucson. (Hmm, you say. Why? It's 104 today.)
Used to live a few floors over author Eric Wilson in an apartment in Victoria. Do I get extra points for that?
Write nonfiction and mg historical fiction.

Hi everyone.

I'm from somewhere that isn't Toronto but it's close enough to it. I write realistic YA fiction, usually with a focus on queerness and diversity in general. My first manuscript is done, and now I'm working on a 2nd one.

I've been a member of SCBWI for a few years but first I somehow never had access to the forums the first year (and didn't know they existed), and then I sort of forgot they were there. Catching up now! I'm also a member of the Writers' Community of Durham Region.

Nice to connect with other Canadian writers!  :stars3
